Sex Magick History

In today’s episode we look at the History of Sexual Magick. It has been used by mankind since the dawn of history. With the rise of Christianity, magick in general and sex magick in particular were initially discouraged, and ultimately banned in western culture. Today the stigma attached to sexuality is fading. Most sexual practices are at least tolerated, if not condoned in western society. We look at some key figures who shaped magick along the way.

Enema Play

Klismaphilia is the fetish characterized by a powerful sexual gratification involving enemas. To some, the inclination towards enemas may be considered a normal part of cleaning out before anal bottoming, while for others it comes along with a variety of other fetishes. To a sadomasochist the sensation of pain or burning may be arousing. There may also be some fetish toward the amount of liquid one can hold in their rectum. Pleasure might be derived from the ability to hold it in for a long time, or from someone forcing them to retain the liquids. We talk about different ways to use enemas and the safety involved in using them for kinky play.

What is a Sadist and Masochist?

Sadism and Masochism were originally medical terms that designated aberrant sexual behaviors exhibited by individuals. Sadomasochism and fetishism became visible in the late nineteenth century because certain people were being aroused by things that did not fit the standard definition of “normal” sex. But what do those terms mean today? To answer that we look at four classes of modern Sadists. And then seven uses for Masochistic pain and how to separate what is pleasurable from what is harmful, as we wrap up our look at the SM from our BDSM acronym.
